WE HAVE PREGNANCY TESTS!
FREE, self-administered, medical quality pregnancy tests are available at the center during all business hours. Walk-ins are welcome, or an appointment can be made by calling (989) 826-5817. Tests are confidential and peer counseling is offered.
How accurate is the test?
The tests we use are laboratory rated. They can detect the hCG pregnancy hormone as early as 7 days after conception 21 – 24 days after the first day of your last period. The test is 99% accurate.
Can I have a retest if my test is negative, and my period doesn’t start?
Yes, you can reschedule another test. The hCG hormone doubles every 2.2 days during the first three months of pregnancy.
What if I don’t want others in the community to know I am getting a pregnancy test?
The staff of His Love Family Resources has great respect for you and the need for confidentiality. We recognize that we live in a small community and so if you feel more comfortable coming at a time other clients will not be there you can schedule a appointment at a time other clients will not be there by calling 826-5817 or texting 989-390-3207. We are committed to keeping all information confidential.
Can my boyfriend come with me?
You are welcome to bring a boyfriend, friend or parent with you if you like.
If you are pregnant, you have three options to consider: parenting, adoption and abortion. Often, women find it helpful to talk with someone about all the options.
